Titanic Quarter

Embark on an unforgettable voyage on this Maritime Heritage tour of Titanic Quarter. This area is named after the ‘Ship of Dreams’ – the RMS Titanic.

Titanic is famous throughout the world but not everyone knows she was built right here in Belfast at Harland & Wolff in 1911.  No trip to Belfast is complete without a tour of the Titanic Quarter.

Experience Belfast’s maritime heritage

Titanic Quarter is steeped in memories of a bygone era and now a bustling destination on the Maritime Mile. Our tour is a voyage of discovery which explores Belfast’s rich maritime heritage. The tour starts at Belfast’s “Big Fish” at Donegall Quay passing by the Titanic Hotel, which was previously the nerve centre of the shipyard and the Olympic and Titanic slipways which were the birth/berth place of the Titanic legend.

Hear the story of the world’s most famous ship

Hear the stories of Titanic’s construction and of those who built her. Find out how the area was later transformed from industrial wasteland to a television production wonderland and is now one of Belfast’s most desirable residential waterfront developments, with some 20,000 people living, working and visiting the Titanic Quarter daily.

See original maritime and naval vessels

The tour route covers multiple public art sculptures and will lead us to one of the oldest surviving Harland & Wolff vessels (the Caisson Gate) and the last remaining White Star Line ship (The SS Nomadic). You will also see the HMS Caroline, one of the oldest surviving Royal Navy ships, having served in both World Wars.

Get up-close and personal with some of Belfast's giants

Discover Harland & Wolff who were once the world’s largest shipbuilder and their iconic yellow cranes, affectionately known as Samson & Goliath, the tallest free standing cranes in the world.

Explore the six Giant stained glass windows depicting some of the most iconic scenes from Game of Thrones.
