Belfast Walking Tours was born out of our love for Belfast – the people, history, and stories. We love showing visitors and natives alike the city’s famous sites and its hidden gems. We offer a large variety of city walking tours and driving tours around Belfast and beyond.

Larry
Hello. I’m Larry Murphy, a born and bred, super proud ‘Belfastian’. I worked the best part of 30 years in the Banking Industry, based across different locations in Belfast City Centre, so I have plenty of experiences to share. That eventful chapter of my life closed in 2017 and the wonderful world of tour-guiding became my new passion.
The city has changed dramatically over those years and yet some things never change such as our warm hospitality and humor. Belfast is a city of stories, fascinating characters, significant events and beautiful architecture. I have always loved meeting people and can’t wait to tell you about my home city.

Paul
Hi, my name is Paul Moyna, one of the proudest ‘Belfastian’s’ you will meet. I absolutely love my native city and am passionate about the people, history and stories she holds. There’s nowhere else I’d rather be.
Born in 1980, I’ve lived all my years here, I love talking, people and Belfast. For 18 years I had worked for an engineering company and due to redundancy in 2017 it allowed me to become the ‘master of my own destiny’. This is when I chose to engineer my own career. Making my dream job of being a host for my beautiful city and tourist guide a reality. I spent almost 30 enjoyable months in part-time college education, training for various tourism and hospitality certificates. I am now a fully certified tour guide with several years experience, countless hours of research and a lifetime of stories to tell.
Belfast is an amazing, safe, vibrant city with many things to see and do. This once troubled capital now stands a city reborn, holding its charm and character From rich culture to architectural monuments, art and museums the people of Belfast are some of the friendliest in the world. One thing’s for sure – your guaranteed good craic.
As a father I’m a great believer of ‘sharing is caring’. I am excited to show you around and share my knowledge of Belfast. I offer fun and informative various city walking and driving tours around the streets of Belfast, visiting the political sides of Belfast, Street Art, Architecture, Pubs, landscape, the Giant’s Causeway, Game of Thrones and more.
PRO TANTO QUID RETRIBUAMUS
The motto of the Belfast City Coat of Arms reads “PRO TANTO QUID RETRIBUAMUS” can be translated as ‘what shall we give in return for so much’. It was once also inscribed on the edge of the NI £1 coins. At Belfast Walking Tours we try to live out our city’s motto through our nominated charity, NI Hospice who themselves give so much in the course of their amazing work.
